Aesop was an Ancient Greek storyteller best known for his collection of timeless cautionary tales. Aesop’s Fables, most of which have anthropomorphic animals at their heart, have remained popular throughout history, and are still taught as moral guides today—presented in a range of different media forms; from short, illustrated stories to children’s animations.

That Aesop's fables have endured for centuries is a testament to the power of storytelling. While little is known of Aesop’s life, his tales have transcended time and culture, inspiring generations of young readers with their wit, wisdom, and moral core.

The characters that populate his stories—whether cunning crows or magical, golden egg-laying geese—have become cultural touchstones and their lessons have been passed down throughout the ages.
