Workshop Gallery

Thrilling news afoot regarding our new gallery which will open its doors to the public in the coming weeks – a unique, by-appointment-only chance to see our stunning garden sculptures up close and meet the makers behind each literary bronze creation.

“My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that!”

Forde Abbey and Gardens

We’re delighted to be working again with Forde Abbey as part of their new restaurant venture. Just in time for its March opening, a stunning collection of our bronze sculptures has been installed in the courtyard.

The gardens look positively spectacular in the slow build-up to spring, thanks to the team at Forde Abbey,  and we’d very much recommend a visit to the historic grounds for a memorable day out in the Somerset countryside.

While only a handful of bronze creations can be found in the courtyard at present – all from the Alice in Wonderland collection – we shall be adding new editions throughout the year.

A date for your diary! From the 21st to the 24th of May, Robert James Workshop will be making its annual voyage to the biggest horticultural event on earth: RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

There will almost certainly be some exciting new editions to introduce to the Chelsea crowds, including our latest project that captures the work of Judith Kerr and her beloved books, The Tiger Who Came to Tea and Mog the Forgetful Cat – plus some new characters from the A.A. Milne sculpture range. We hope to see you there!
