Widely considered one of the greatest works in the history of children’s literature, Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland follows the whimsical, often surrealist fortunes of Alice; a young Victorian girl who, after falling asleep in a meadow, has a dream about following a pocket watch-carrying White Rabbit down a rabbit hole. Entangled in a series of delightfully bizarre episodes, encountering a whole cast of larger-than-life characters along the way, this is a tale that has captured the imagination of both adults and children since its 1865 publication.
