Blood, sweat, and tea, sister! That's what it takes to achieve all great and terrible things!
A gracious host of his own Unbirthday tea party, The Mad Hatter is one of the most uniquely eccentric characters in Lewis Carroll’s classic tale Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In the curious world of the Hatter, nothing is what it seems!
Available in hot cast bronze only.
A large garden water feature capturing the Mad Hatter from Lewis Carroll's book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. A literary water sculpture that will bring a sense of Wonderland magic to your garden. Handmade in the UK, using ancient hot cast bronze techniques, this is a true statement piece for your outdoor space and the perfect gift for lovers of classic literature.
To slow the spread of algae and keep the water as clean as possible, we’d recommend changing the water in your bronze Mad Hatter fountain at least once a month.
Although our garden water features run on electricity, the costs are generally fairly low and you shouldn't notice a huge spike in your energy bills. You also shouldn't use much additional water as our literary sculptures only need topping up when the weather has been particularly hot or windy. For the purposes of saving energy, however, you should consider using a timer or switching off your bronze garden water feature when it’s not in use or at night time, particularly if you’re going to be away for an extended period.
For a sculpture of this size, we'd recommend cleaning your Mad Hatter garden water feature every couple of months. For a more extensive refurbishment process, please follow our handy video and guide.
Happily, as bronze contains little or no iron, there's no chance of your Mad Hatter water feature rusting. No matter how much water pours forth from his tea pot!

Installation
Installation and correct placement are important factors when choosing a location for your sculpture.
In particular, it is important to keep your sculpture away from large trees that might drop branches!
We appreciate that placement may require help, so please do ask us for advice. If you would like to enquire about our installation service, please get in touch with James to talk through the options.
