Curiouser and curiouser…
Robert James Workshop have been hard at work this summer, breathing new life into the magical literary mind of Lewis Carroll with two Alice in Wonderland-inspired exhibitions at RHS Rosemoor and RHS Harlow Carr.
Why not take a tumble down the rabbit hole at RHS Rosemoor over the holidays and enjoy our collection of handcrafted bronze sculptures; all your favourite characters plucked from the pages of Carroll’s charmingly absurd masterpiece. As well as a large bronze Alice sculpture, there are 7 other miniatures dotted around the majestic grounds of Rosemoor—all just waiting to be found on a topsy-turvy garden trail.
There are plenty of other Alice-themed activities to keep you entertained during your visit. Cheer on the waistcoated White Rabbit in a game of croquet, get stuck into a picnic at the Mad Hatter’s tea party—or take part in a fun garden bug hunt.
There are yet more Alice adventures to be enjoyed at RHS Harlow Carr with an enchanting Wonderland family garden trail—which has been capturing the imagination of both children and adults all summer long. Look out for our bronze Alice sculpture—which peers out over Harlow Carr’s summer-blooming Lakeside Garden pond. There’s also a tea-spilling Mad Hatter water feature to find AND two other miniatures. Can you spot the beaming grin of the Cheshire Cat?
We are beyond thrilled to be able to showcase our work in these two long-established Royal Horticultural Society gardens, and we would encourage anyone to take a trip to either Harlow Carr and Rosemoor to see our sculptures up close. The exhibitions will be running until 6th September, 2021—so why not set your pocket watches and book a visit!
