""Everyone wants some magical solution to their problem and everyone refuses to believe in magic"
The season of enchantment and make-believe fast approaches. As the crisp orangey glow of autumn makes way for the start of the festive period, there’s no better time to indulge in a merry adventure at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, home to some of Robert James Workshop’s most beloved masterworks…
At this time of year, the famous Wonderland Trail will be spellbound with even more charm and storybook magic, as once again, the gardens host ILLUMINATE—a stunning light display directed by OT Event Technicians.
It’s a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the beautiful gardens and their Wonderland inhabitants under the night sky, brought to life with a breathing illumination display. The perfect theatrical backdrop for our treasured bronze sculptures.
All your favourite characters from the pages of classic literature will be there. Take a captivating stroll through the Abbotsbury grounds and see if you can spot Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit…and perhaps even a hapless Jeremy Fisher out on the pond, trying to catch his supper!
To avoid disappointment for this magical exhibtion, we’d heartily recommend you book your tickets early. The event will be running daily from 4:30 pm - 6:45 pm from the 25th of November to the 8th January 2023.
Tickets £12.50 per adult and £7.50 per child (children under 5 years go free).
All of Robert James Workshop sculptures are available to purchase. Contact James: 07515126119.
Before we hotfoot back to the workshop, we’d like to kindly remind that you as winter’s grip tightens, soon will be the time to drain out your water features to prevent them from freezing up.
Simply remove the water pipe from the sculpture and be sure the pump is turned off at the mains.
If you’d like to enquire about any of our bronze sculptures, or need any maintenance advice for your water features ahead of winter, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We'd love to chat!
