Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle

Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle

Height: 18 inches / 46cm

Hot Cast Bronze | Edition: 100

Mrs. Tiggy Winkle's nose went sniffle, sniffle, snuffle, and her eyes went twinkle, twinkle; and she fetched another hot iron from the fire.

Named after Beatrix Potter’s childhood pet hedgehog, and inspired by a washerwoman called Kitty MacDonald, who was employed by the Potter family at their Scottish Highlands holiday home, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle is a kind old soul who spends her days cleaning and pressing the clothes of all the other woodland creatures—a heart-warming story beautifully captured in the 1905 novel, The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.

Available in hot cast bronze.

From the pages of Beatrix Potter's classic novel comes our beautifully handmade Mrs. Tiggy Winkle garden sculpture, available in hot cast bronze or cold cast bronze. Capturing all the charm and enchantment of the kind-hearted hedgehog, this bronze statue is the perfect outdoor feature for literary lovers.
